Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Bears & Bulls GO websites, accounts, community features, and related services that link to it. It does not govern third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies.

Information you provide

• account information such as email address, username, display name, profile image, and authentication details;
• profile details and preferences you choose to add;
• predictions, comments, reactions, reports, and other community content;
• watchlists, bookmarks, followed symbols, filter preferences, and other saved activity;
• messages and information submitted through support or contact forms.

Information collected automatically

• IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, referring page, approximate location derived from IP, and timestamps;
• pages viewed, searches, clicks, feature usage, errors, and performance information;
• security logs, session identifiers, cookies, and similar technologies needed to keep you signed in and protect the service.

Google Sign-In

If you sign in with Google, Google provides the basic account information you authorize, which may include your name, email address, profile image, and a unique Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password. We use this information to create and secure your Bears & Bulls GO account.

We use personal information to:

• create accounts, authenticate users, and provide requested features;
• save watchlists, preferences, predictions, comments, and profile information;
• display community content and calculate community sentiment or leaderboard results;
• respond to support requests and service communications;
• detect fraud, spam, abuse, security incidents, and Terms violations;
• debug, analyze, maintain, and improve service reliability and usability;
• comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect users, the public, and the service.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to provide the service you request, for our legitimate interests in operating and securing it, with your consent, or to comply with legal obligations.

When you request an AI-powered feature, relevant prompts, ticker information, public market information, or content needed to produce the response may be sent to an AI service provider. Do not submit sensitive personal information in prompts or community posts. AI responses may be logged for security, quality, and abuse prevention where permitted by law.

We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: companies that provide hosting, databases, authentication, email, analytics, security, customer support, and AI processing. Current infrastructure may include Supabase, Google, and Vercel.
• Public activity: profile information and community content you choose to publish may be visible to other users and the public.
• Legal and safety: authorities or other parties when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, security threats, or harm.
• Business transfers: a buyer, successor, lender, or adviser involved in a merger, financing, restructuring, or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.
• With your direction: another party when you request or consent to the disclosure.

Service providers may process information only to perform services for us or as otherwise permitted by their agreements and applicable law.

We use necessary cookies or local storage for authentication, account security, preferences, and core operation. We may use limited analytics technologies to understand performance and feature usage. If we introduce non-essential advertising or tracking technologies, we will provide additional notice and choices where required.

You may control cookies through your browser. Blocking necessary storage can prevent sign-in and other features from working correctly.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Account information is generally kept while your account is active. Public content may remain visible until you delete it, your account is deleted, or we remove it.

Security logs and backups may remain for a limited period after account deletion. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably identify you.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls and encrypted network connections. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and devices.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You can update available profile information from your account settings. To request deletion or exercise another privacy right, use our contact page. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may use an authorized agent where applicable law permits it, subject to verification.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. You may appeal a denied request by replying through the same contact channel and stating that you are requesting an appeal.

Bears & Bulls GO is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it. Users under the age of legal majority should use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those locations may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live. Where required, we use lawful safeguards for international transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date above and, when required, provide additional notice before a material change takes effect.
